We are a small business that offers customized consultancy in estimating and procurement
mainly for commercial builders, residential builders, subcontractors, and civil trades.
OUR TOOLS
We use estimating software including Cubit Pro, Mudshark, Bluebeam , Global & Microsoft projects to measure, rate and manage projects.
We use First Principles Estimating & Cost Planning Techniques plus being able to Vett and compare subcontractor pricing.
OUR STAFF
As our projects are regional & architecturally diverse we look for people who have excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of local & National building industry, National Construction Codes (NCC or BCA), and Australian standards.
Excellent skill in the standard “Office” software.
Some exposure to the standard industry contracts and preferably experience in Custom residential, Commercial & civil estimating.
Our staff need to very fast at the grind to be able to find the time to apply the best science to win projects.
CAREERS - Positions Vacant
1. Casual BOQ Estimator on Cubit (10- 20 hours per week)
We are looking for a casual estimator to help out with BOQs from time to time. Experience in mainly Tire 3 builders & subcontractors in the Australian market would be preferred. I would imagine that this role would suit a QS or building estimator wishing to moonlight after hours or on the weekends. The ideal person would have the following:
- Ability to work 10 to 20 hours per week
- Ability to produce a BOQ so I can rate with little to no manipulation
- Access to Cubit Pro ONLY.
- Australian Resident ONLY and experience in Australia, and if possible ABN Preferred
- BOQ Background in Civils, Earthworks, Concrete, Cladding, Residential, Commercial, and fitouts would be great.
- $40 to $75 Neg. depending on your experience
